On the Nobility of Otters

I've been asked to write about the nobility of otters. This is easy.

When I think of nobles, I imagine them reclining on a couch or gorging themselves at a banquet, feasting in luxury.

Otters are naturally built for this, reposing in the water, floating with their dinner on their stomach, like lords of the lake. Their excellent whiskers only add to this impression.

Look around this gallery. Find yourself a portrait or two of nobles in their finery, moustachioed and grand. They will look, I tell you, exactly like otters,
